Membership

As a member of the FvB you can take advantage of these activities:

Our fully coloured periodical publication called BIERDECKEL-MAGAZIN with up to 120 pages is issued five times a year and delivered free to the door by ordinary mail.
The German language is the common standard.

Every member is entitled to 5 free advertisements in German, English or French with up to 18 print lines to publish his offers and wants in our magazine to get in contact with our members all over the world. Announcement of sale are not free.

Members and affiliated persons are invited to attend our international exchange meetings, which are organized 10 times a year at various places all over in Germany to indulge one's accumulative passion. Senior members help beginners by donating material or straight tips to build up a proper collection.

Regular local meetings can be attended in various German cities. Details can be found in the BDM or on our homepage.

You come to know dates and venues of other meetings in Europe.

People not being able to attend meetings can trade through the post. We offer establishing new contacts by ads in the BDM or with the help of our list with trade prospects.

After refunding our expenses you can purchase all publications such as brewery directories either via our shop or at meetings.

For collectors of beermats/coasters, beer labels, crown caps, playing cards and drop catchers we have established special services called "Beschaffungsdienste" to provide new issues.

If you have any unidentified breweriana, you can ask officials of the FvB, who try to assist you in filing them properly.


Membership fee per annum:

55.00 euros for regular members, 30.00 euros for students, pupils, apprentices and those serving his military duty.
11.00 euros for connector members to regular members without supply of the Bierdeckel-Magazin.
In addition we have to ask for EUR 5.00 to cover the higher postage costs, so that your total fee amounts is EUR 60,00 (regular membership).
Members living in the european countries which joined the European Monetary Union by introducing the currency EURO can transfer money to our FvB band account easily without extra cost in case you use the new banking information IBAN and BIC.
